in this chapter we learn the controlling power that the women has over the beast is removed... then the power of 10 angry kings plus the power of the beast is united as one... 10 angry kings plus the beast turned on / attacked the women... and they shall (1) make her desolate and naked, and (2) shall eat her flesh, and (3) burn her with fire... the great city or women is... WOW ! WOW ! WOW !
  • Victor Ojionye on Psalms 82 - 8 years ago
The chapter teaches that men are not God. Those who act like one shall only be god and not God. A good lesson indeed. Thank you Jess.

15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Sovering Lord , JEHOVAH" the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

"Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye.." There are many examples in the Bible for learning how we ought to use discernment and be prudent regarding the deceitful endeavors of the adversary against us. 1 John 4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." Don't just let everyone in!

Steve morrow - Great peace have they that love thy law and nothing shall offend them. TRUTH
  • A disciple on Ephesians 6 - 8 years ago
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right." Ephesians 6:1 In the context of this part of the Epistle on the subject of Submitting ourselves to, and honoring and loving one another whether it is the married couple, the parents and their children, the servants and their masters, the community and their rulers the measure of our love for Jesus and our obedience, is in how we walk in truth and love toward those in our most ordinary relations and everyday life. Every kind of relationship whether with family, friends, neighbors or strangers, we need to learn their important relation with our walk with God, and should be regarded as the way we will actually do what the Lord says. If we read our Bibles, attend meetings and fellowship, witness to others, we don't want to be a "Street Angel, and a Home Devil!" In other words, appearing to be a devout and holy Christian outside the home, but a terrible selfish monster toward your family at home!
  • Scott on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago
This psalm is very powerful. It gives me a great sense of comfort to know our God is always there for us. Most importantly that he is there to reward us for eternity if we remain strong for him. Thank you God, you are such a great father!

Ren (cont.); Jude 1:5 "I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not." 2 John 1:8 "Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward." "..the devils also believe, and tremble." Read Matthew 7:21-27
  • A disciple on Esther 8 - 8 years ago
Ren; God is not willing for anyone to perish, and He has made every provision for ALL men everywhere to benefit from His Gift of reconciliation and salvation from sin through His Son Jesus Christ. But men have their part as well, to prove whether they are of the truth by hearing Jesus' voice, repenting of sin AND quitting them, and believing; and continuing steadfast unto the end. Read Jude 1:5

Makes me ask the question for all of us, Are we prepared? We have the Bible, old and new testament. The Bible has all the answers. Are we prepared? Second, I see a Revival happening in verses 25 26. even strangers coming to listen celebrate! Beautiful. Finally, Sanctification. Yes. We need it. Learn more about it! Many blessings to Hezekiah for his prayer of mercy for those not sanctified! Amen!!!
  • The Knight on Luke 13 - 8 years ago
Oh ye of little faith, who trust in riches as a reward! Little do you know the apocalypse is at your door and the fox is in the henhouse. You have let him in for your perversions and greed. The evil one cut thru your armor which you trusted in and tear you to pieces. Oh that you were even somewhat conscious of what is to come. Your so called armor won't even save. It will make it easier for.

    To Insight 777:
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. Mat 5:17. Read Acts 6:13. What you quoted (verse 14) are false accusations. Jesus was talking about the temple of His body that will be resurrected in three days. To the Hebrews this was the "pay-back time" after years of slavery. Sometimes God (not Moses) works in strange ways.
  • Ren on Esther 8 - 8 years ago
@Sam so if once saved always saved is a lie what about 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

1 John 3:6- Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not, Whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 1 Corinthians 6 - 8 years ago
We should be constantly reminded that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on Ezra 4 - 8 years ago
This is a classic example of subterfuge. You can get away with man but you cannot get away with God. Even with man as we shall see, the reward can be noxious. Rehum, Shimshai the scribe and their companions paid a heavy prize. We must shun things that will bring down the house of the Lord- our bodies which is the temple of the Lord. We must shun sin.
  • A disciple on Psalms 19 - 8 years ago
Winnie; "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shews his handiwork." What is the glory? God's divinity is His glory! There is no number or measure of His understanding, and His power is infinite. His GLORY is His Supreme Greatness, and His Eternal Existence. All these things we have been robbed of learning because of sin and a darkened heathen mind; but Jesus came to restore us!
  • A disciple on Psalms 26 - 8 years ago
Dear Lowanda; Jesus who brought you to the day of repentance and conversion will never leave you nor forsake you; and all that He has had in His heart for you from the foundation of the world, He will not rest until it is done completely! We have so much to grow and to learn and to be transformed and made like our Master Jesus: hunger for Him in His Word every day in much prayer, and only believe!
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
If we believe all that Jesus and the Prophets and Apostles said, then there cannot be any confusion about the end of the world and the catching away of the Saints at the Lord's coming. The whole doctrine of a PRE 7 years tribulation rapture, and somehow those who are left THEN repenting, is completely unscriptural fantasy! The Scripture says they WON'T! "HE THAT ENDURES TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED!"
  • Dick Cole on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
The Holy Scripture of God Almighty stands as written. How can anyone doubt and try to change what is God Almighty's word!!!!....Accept it as written....
