I have read some perpostuous comments about the saint of this book. First 2 Peter 1:20,21 says, knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.v22 for the prophecy came not in old times by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were move by
the Holy Ghost. 2 Tim. 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine

Mild Bill; Amen Brother. And what is it that they so furiously rage against, and have their vain imagination? "..Against the LORD, and against His Anointed - Christ." It filled up in their slanders and accusations and lies; its filled up in their movies and music; its filled up in every thought of their hearts and expression: "NO GOD!" and "NO ONE TELLING ME ANYTHING!" O COME LORD JESUS! ITS TIME!
  • Jason on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
This is a great few chapters..the 90s. Shannons comment and Sheilas, Shannon, another one is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.. And Sheila, even people who think they have to memorize..they don't..it's great to study because it never gets old,and I always learn as things are being unveiled everyday now. But just putting God's word in your head once, and the holy spirit will bring it to memory when u need.

Stephen; How did we all miss that part? Now I read the Bible, and it says God created the heavens and the earth in six days, and rested the seventh day and sanctified it. Chapter 2 is a further expounding of the beginning of man. If we cannot speak and command anything into existence, that's because WE ARE NOT GOD! Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? His NAME is I AM!
  • A disciple on Hebrews 6 - 8 years ago
NO Jim! Once saved, AFTERWARDS DESTROYED FOR UNBELIEF! Not once saved always saved: for then we could do what we want, live scandalous, selfish, filthy unclean lives, an abhorrence to God and man; "But we're Christians!" How does anyone NOT understand that? The evil tree which produces rotten fruit IS CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE! "Then truly by their fruits you shall know them."
  • A disciple on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
Jim; Actually Brother, according to the Scriptures, being "born from above" we are given a new nature, and are being made partakers of God's divine nature! Sin shall NOT have dominion over us! That which before held us in darkness under bondage to sins, has been broken to pieces, and we are set free REALLY! If when we are tempted, we break a hedge, then the serpent will bite; but it isn't final!
  • A disciple on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Dear Jeff; How are you? Nice to see you posting again. I like the way you brought that out about how God created. Many have had funny ideas about the meaning of "void and without form, and darkness upon the face of the deep;" but I agree with you that it simply but profoundly means He created everything out of nothing! Oh how great is our God! And His divine knowledge and understanding and power!
  • A disciple on Acts 9 - 8 years ago
Sharlet; We are commanded by God NOT to follow the multitudes to do evil, and NOT to take up a reproach against our neighbor. Yet there are many who have turned away from the holy commandment and have given their hearts to hearken to lies and slanders. The one who wants to REALLY do this country good, has given up his own private family life, and his hard earned success; is hated and lied about!

"My soul, wait thou only upon God for my expectation is from him." Psalms 62:5 "And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?" 1 Samuel 26:1 By God's grace we are kept from sinning, and our feet walking straight and even through this world, according to our integrity that is in us. So what then must be said about all those who have no qualms with sinning and following the crowds to evil and of ourselves as well when we went astray? The days are turning into a fiery oven to try our souls, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. Now comes the time when we will be put to the test concerning our love and faithfulness toward the Lord Jesus, and our reflecting His love and grace toward those who betray us and do us wrong. "Watch, Stay Awake! and Pray that you may be able to escape these things that are coming on the earth, and to stand before the Son of man."
  • Jim on Revelation 1 - 8 years ago
The Revelation of Jesus Christ. This is one of my favorite chapters in the Word of God. Jesus the resurrected Christ begins to reveal his power, authority and glory here.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 2 - 8 years ago
We live in an age where rage of heathens and vanity of people has grown to predominance. Yet, God mercifully sent his only begotten son to represent him, his love for us." Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." " I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."Expect him any time.
  • Lilian on Psalms 62 - 8 years ago
My Soul waith though upon God for my expectations is from him only. Thank you Jesus for being faithful to your words you are my rock and my salvation Shalom my only Peace that no one on this earth giveth amen
  • Sharlet on Acts 9 - 8 years ago
Acts 9- This chapter can be use to enlighten us as to what God is saying in this fallen world today. Many are wondering about Trump as president but as Christian believers we should be praying and expecting for God's mighty transformation to take place. The pride and ignorance must be removed. God has a plan for America and He knows when and how He will demonstrate this miraculous transformation.
  • Charles Bonsu on 1 Corinthians 12 - 8 years ago
    Amen.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 1 Corinthians 12 - 8 years ago
We are reminded of the diversity of gifts and roles. We should covet earnestly the best gifts through supplication to God.
  • Jeff Berry on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Verse 1 is the beginning of the first literal day. There is a reason why God created the earth in 6 literal days and rested on the seventh. And there is a reason why He created the earth without "form" (as a Potter forms his clay or an Artist creates on his canvas) and it was not to allow time for "evolution" to occur. In the beginning means; in the beginning.
  • Chosen2Serve on Micah 4 - 8 years ago
Hallelujah to our Lord God...our God of the Gentiles and our God of Israel. In the last days, which we are in now, Israel shall return unto their God...they will worship our Lord Jesus as Messiah! Yet it shall be those who are blinded to accept Father God and the Lord Jesus and the Holy Ghost as the True and only God...yes, unfortunately, they will do homage to their gods. Pray for Jerusalem!
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 8 years ago
Dear Brother Jim; God has been able in every age to provide Himself good and faithful witnesses. No matter how much we may want to give the children of the devil the benefit of the doubt, and say, Maybe it was for this reason, or, maybe its because of that... and still find a way to blame ourselves; God Himself, at a certain point lets men have their own minds, and the kind of spirits they want.
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 8 years ago
"For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" When Jesus warned His enemies that their hatred and hostility that they were spreading among the people was blasphemy of the Spirit that would never be forgiven; or when they stirred up the crowds to violence and demanding Jesus' crucifixion; did any of them feel sorry or change their wicked minds in the centuries since?
  • A disciple on Proverbs 27 - 8 years ago
"Though you should grind a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him." While the good and righteous want to give every opportunity to the evildoers to clear themselves; at some point the wicked must be judged for their crimes? So long as the lawless are allowed to continue unrestrained, so long will they not change. Kindness is to them, a weakness!
  • Jim on James 2 - 8 years ago
Faith is action, not just talk but walk also, the Christian life is not fake or phony. a person can fool other people but you can not fool the All Mighty God.
  • A disciple on Ephesians 6 - 8 years ago
"But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore." Exodus 14:29-30 One of the great signs for us to look to for understanding the way we take with Jesus, is the salvation and deliverance of Israel from Egypt, and the consequent humbling and destruction of Pharaoh and his army. The Day of our deliverance and salvation will be the same Day that God executes judgment on the pride and the idols of the wicked. Our very salvation is the rebuke of everything they have used to build their world, and all they trust in to support their delusions. The things that the evil ones count on to be our inescapable ruin shall be the very things that God will make our deliverance for ever out of their hands. "Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD with you!"
  • Lilian on Ephesians 6 - 8 years ago
Finally, Brethen be strong in the Lord and the Power of his might thanks to the blood of Jesus Lord when I am weak you are my strength help me Lord to be born again in spirit every moment of my life. I will praise and worship you Lord for you are worthy amen
  • Jim - 8 years ago
In this chapter 3, the word commit means to practice or (committed to) a lost sinner practices sin and is committed to sin. But the saved (born again) children of God do not practice sin, we FALL into sin thru temptation (we do not practice or committed to sin)
  • Jim on 1 John 3 - 8 years ago
    Randy,
We are all born into sin, we sin because of our born nature. But Jesus Christ died for all and shed his blood for all and arose from the dead if we believe in our heart this very work Jesus did in our place, we are saved born from the Holy Spirit above (born again) and our sins are forgiven forever. But we still have our old nature and still in this world until Jesus comes again for us.
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
Dear Charlie (P.S.); The Lord will keep us, and does keep us from the hour of trial coming on the whole world! He has given us an understanding, and we know all things! Our understanding worked out in our faith, character, conduct, is the integrity through which God keeps us from sinning and from being drawn away after the perversion and deceit of the ungodly. He makes it a wall of waters!
  • A disciple - 8 years ago
Dear Charlie (lastly); "Here is the patience of the Saints; here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus Christ." After the first four seals are opened; that is, underneath each of these things that are at work in the world is the Martyrs of Jesus under the Altar crying to God for vengeance. What was the answer? "Not until your brethren have likewise been killed as you!"
  • A disciple - 8 years ago
Dear Charlie (cont.); As for whether we will be here up to the end, "His grace is sufficient for me." Why do you think that Jesus gave us His last words in John 13-15, and Revelation 2-3 in the messages to the Churches, if not for our benefit of being told everything up front; and that we would not be scandalized by those things that are NECESSARY to come first to bring about the Day of the LORD?
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
Dear Charlie; As long as we abide in Jesus, and His word in us, we will bring forth fruit unto God; and not have to be cut off and cast away. Tribulation is appointed to us for several reasons, as you know. Trials and temptations and persecutions and afflictions prove us and are used by God to chasten and chastise and humble us; which is for our SALVATION, that we should not perish with the world.
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
Dear Preacher Charlie Chandler; The Lord said that in this world "we have tribulation;" and the entire Bible is full to overflowing with that fact, and the whole reason why! In addition it is written in the Law of the LORD about when we repent and are converted we would also accept what punishments and consequences He has brought us under for all the generations of sinning before us.
