This chapter encourages us to look to the Lord and trust in his word and He will fight our battles.

When reading this psalms it is telling how evil the tongue is. That is why we must slow to speak and quick to listen. We must learn control our minds and stay focused on the word of Jehovah. That is why the word says out of the heart flows the issue of life we must love one another as God loves us. When a situation happen we must go to Jehovah and ask what should we do. In Jesus mighty name Amen

  • Leslie Brown on Psalms 51 - 8 years ago
When I read this psalms We all was in sin and shape in iniquity. We must each and every ask Jehovah God to clean our heart and repent of our sins. God love is unconditional and all He asks for us is to understand His word and follow Him. This must be a daily process. We are going to fall but we must get back. Repent of our sins and thank Jehovah for is love. He is a might God. Let praise Him.
  • Leslie Brown on Psalms 50 - 8 years ago
When I read this psalms it have me reflexing back to yesterday with eclipse from yesterday. God made this happen two times before yesterday the first time when Jesus was crucified and said Father into thy hand his spirit went with God his Father. The second time was in June 1918. We must understand that Jehovah God is not pleased with us and we must repent for our sins, and thanking for loving us
  • Daniel kimuyu on Matthew 24 - 8 years ago
It's true no one knows the day or the hour but we have signs to look for his coming according to mathew 24.The parable of the ten virgins.we need to be always ready.Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. We need to believe in Jesus Christ and obey God's word fully.Without righteousness no one will see God the bible says.
  • R4Love on Genesis 11 - 8 years ago
I have a question. I just started reading and in Gen. 1:26, it states "...Let us make man in our image, after our likeness". Who was He talking to?
  • Douglas Gilbert Wells on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
Stay with him even sometimes you a walking alone that. That is what enemy of above this world would like you to think
  • Jeff Berry on John 19 - 8 years ago
Disciple, your defense of Peter is unwarranted. I like Peter have through repentance been a recepeant of God's wonderful Grace! I want others to understand that (whatever sin they are guilty of) they (like Peter) can repent and be a partaker of that grace. Be like Peter not like Judas (who apparently never found repentance). I want everyone to know the wonderful grace of God that I have enjoyed...
  • Charles Bonsu on 1 Corinthians 4 - 8 years ago

  • Peter A. Okebukola on Romans 14 - 8 years ago
Eternal truths- For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 2 Chronicles 32 - 8 years ago
God is ever with His people as long as they stay at the centre of His will. The Hezekiah and Sennacherib story tells us to depend only on the true God. Sennacherib boasted: "shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand." He perished at the end of the day. We should not worship God and mammon.
  • Exegesis 1 on Ecclesiastes 10 - 8 years ago
Ecclesiastes is a 'wisdom book'. In his writings, the Preacher has stated that all history and human activity is subject to the Sovereign Will of God (3:11, 7:13). In chapter 10, the Preacher compartmentalizes both the spiritual and the natural world; 'feasting brings laughter, wine brings joy, and money answers everything', but Yahweh will Judge all.

Hi Dewey; I don't think its exactly "adding to the word;" but something I heard from others, and I think makes sense. Time will tell of course! One thing is interesting too; how that even with all the plagues and punishments and the appearance of the two witnesses; those who are not killed outright by those judgments still refuse to repent or at all acknowledge the truth to give God glory.
  • Michele Haney on 1 Samuel 2 - 8 years ago
I need to repent more complain less, and honor God at all times!
  • Michele Haney🙌 on Daniel 7 - 8 years ago
I think I need to witness a lot more before Jesus comes back!
  • Cross - 8 years ago
... In our case, water baptism is our confirmation that we are willing to carry our cross and follow Jesus, whatever it takes. Water Baptism happens after we get saved, after we've been forgiven and justified before the Father. This means that we've already been cleansed of our sins even before we get baptized :)
  • Cross on Matthew 21 - 8 years ago
Dear Insight777: I'm sorry, but do you really mean to say that Jesus taught water baptism removes sin? Because if that's the case, then Jesus Himself is a sinner since he went through water baptism too. Jesus' baptism is a sign of obedience to the Father. A confirmation that Jesus is willing to complete the plan of salvation by dying on the cross to redeem us from sin.
  • A disciple on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
Elijah; What has it to do with our salvation? Easy! What was ruined and lost for us by Adam and Eve's sin? What then was the thing that God created us for to begin with? Since the disaster in Eden, and the resulting expulsion as unfit from the presence of God, none of us has ever had a chance to find out what it even means that we were made in the image of God. That's what our salvation is for!
  • Cherry on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
when I read psalm 91 I no I have some one who protect and guide me all the way who is my strong hold and my pilot who can steer me to glory that one is jesus

to SabbathkeeperandWife from 3 mths ago; I disagree with a few of your statements. Days do not automatically mean years in prophecy. A better understanding of world history as it is borne witness to in the Bible, will show that the time of the end is not just the last 150 years. Prophecy is not some secret code or hocus pocus that men in their darkened minds can find a key or method to unlock it!
  • A disciple on Revelation 9 - 8 years ago
Hi Steve; No! absolutely NOT "thanking a person for disobedience!" I don't get the connection with the verse you quote? In the same chapter, those same "Jews which believed on Him" very quickly became angry and quarrelsome with the Lord, and proved what kind they really were; and even though they were in some way believing on HIM, Jesus said that they were of their father the devil. What is point?
  • A disciple on Revelation 1 - 8 years ago
Hi Harold; Good question: let's look it up! In every case but one ( Luke 20:36), there is only one word, 'angelos;' to bring tidings; a messenger; (esp. 'Angels'); by implication a Pastor: Angel, Messenger; (Strong's). Luke 20:36 "Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the ANGELS.." 'isangelos' Like an Angel, i.e. Angelic; "Equal unto the Angels." Read also Hebrews 1:14.
  • Gabriel Kyei-Yeboah on 1 Corinthians 6 - 8 years ago
God want us to totally preserve our body for Him always.
  • A disciple on Revelation 3 - 8 years ago
Dewey; Thank you Brother! Praise the LORD for His mercy forever and His wonderful works toward the children of men! With the wicked springing like grass and all restraint apparently being removed, we know that our redemption draws near, and very soon our faith will be turned to sight. Be strong and stand tough! All provision has been made for our success and endurance "unto the end!" Hallelu Jah!
  • A disciple on Revelation 9 - 8 years ago
Dear Steve; I think you are misunderstanding something; no offense taken however. If you read again carefully, the point is about whether angels were made with the ability to breed with humans; which Carolyn and I agree is unscriptural nonsense. That false teaching (idiotic notion) was started by the disobedient Jews, who don't have the Holy Spirit, and willfully reject Christ in the Scriptures.
  • A disciple on 2 Chronicles 21 - 8 years ago
Ren; you may find interesting and helpful Adultery in Exodus 20:14; Matt. 5:27-28 etc. means Apostasy; and so figuratively, Idolatry. In older translations like the Wycliffe Bible it is translated, "Thou shalt not Commit Lechery." Fornication in the O.T. is "Highly Fed, and therefore Wanton, to Commit Adultery, or Idolatry;" in the N.T. 'Porneia' which is Harlotry, Indulge Lust, Practice Idolatry.
  • A disciple on John 3 - 8 years ago
Alex; While we're using the simile of planting seed, in the parable of the sower the different kinds of hearts were the responsibility of the men who had them; for this is the teaching. A heart trampled down hard by sin and the world, an unprepared heart, a wrongly planted seed among the cares and pleasures of this world, and an honest and good heart: all these have their effect on what we become.
  • A disciple on John 19 - 8 years ago
Hi Jeff; Thanks for writing back! I'm glad you say we don't disagree; however I don't like the words, "same path" for what it implies. Up until the day Jesus was risen from the grave, and He breathed on them and opened their understanding to the Scriptures; it was hidden from them how Jesus had to go to the cross for us. All the disciples fled for fear; in this Peter was like them; NOT like Judas!
