  • Jeff Berry on John 19 - 8 years ago
I do not doubt that Judas could have repented at any time....Scripture would have been fulfilled. We have here another individual (Peter) that is an example of someone that also denies Jesus but responds to God's grace by repenting. Two men, both heading down the same path but only one embraced God's wonderful grace.
  • Mahlon on 2 Corinthians 9 - 8 years ago
Tithing is a Faith Message begins with Abraham not with Jacob. Just because Jacob didn't is not an excuse for us not to do it Malachi teachers the word about tithing. God bless you today

This whole chapter provides guidelines for Christian living. Key guidelines are- Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. live peaceably with all men. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

  • Dewey J on Revelation 10 - 8 years ago
Ron, I believe you are right. However, concerning the name of the book The Revelation of Jesus Christ given to St. John to write gives all of us human being the whole story of God's divine plan from chapter 1 through 22. This book of Revelation gives us more than enough knowledge to get to paradise. What a blessing glory be to God in the highest. Amen!
  • Brother Daniel FC on Galatians 3 - 8 years ago
In Phil. 2:2, 5 we are invited: “Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind… Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…” God wants us to be one with Him, to live in our hearts and minds. “Abide in me, and I in you. John 15:4". “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you...? 1Co 6:19"
  • Janice on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago

  • Christian powell on Jonah 1 - 8 years ago
The story of Jonah is clearly demonstrate Gods love to humanity, hi desire to save us and are not willing that we perish by his judgement. with this being the case, a question of thought comes to mind. what is the difference between Nineveh and Sodom and Gomorrah. How dose one explain Gods mercy for one but destruction for the other, his will to save one and destroy the other.
  • Sheila on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago

  • Jeannie on Jeremiah 35 - 8 years ago
Have I misunderstood this chapter35? - God sent instructions via Jeremiah to the Rechabites who did not adhere. God was not pleased because they were faithful to man and not Him. Therefore God pronounced evil upon them. But I notice comments and Commentary are saying otherwise.
  • Joan on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago

  • A disciple on Jeremiah 47 - 8 years ago
"The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines.." As much as it is not allowed by the world to say such things; it is nonetheless a fact, that God remembers the heathen Nations who have NEVER repented of their hatred and violence against Israel, and to this day hold on to the ancient idolatry against the LORD and against His Anointed; and He will take them away!
  • Skell on Romans 11 - 8 years ago
Romans is our doctrine for today , we are in the But Now. For those that are looking for doctrine in the time past ,acts, or ages to come, are missing what God is doing today. Romans through Philemon have very different language than the rest of the bible, his writing were given to him from the Risen Lord, its for the Gentile the Body of Christ.

"That which was from the beginning...of the Word of life" (cont.); The entire reason why the whole of mankind is allowed to live; both after Adam's sin, and after our own sinning; is on account of God's mercy and love for us to send His only begotten Son into the world to undo the works of the devil, and save us from our sins, so reconciling us to God. It was impossible otherwise for us to escape!
  • Sylvia on Psalms 100 - 8 years ago
Praise him Praise him he's worthy to be praised. Thank you Father for your precious Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
  • A disciple on 1 John 1 - 8 years ago
"That which was from the beginning...of the Word of life" For most reading the story of the beginning, it is hard to understand that when God said to the man, "..For in the day you eat thereof you shall surely die;" and then after he did eat of the tree that he was commanded not to eat, he was still allowed more than 900 years before he died. The mercy extended to us all is on account of Christ.
  • Love on 1 John 1 - 8 years ago
WORD: it is true that we should not believe in man. However, the bible in Ephisians 4:11 teaches that God gave apostles, preachers, teachers, some pastors for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ. Yes we must be aware that some may come in sheep's clothing but one must study God's word and ask for the holy spirit to guide us in all truths

Eternal truths- Of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.
