The Lord is a rich enjoyable father . I want to grow more with his Word teaching me the path of goodness .

These verses from John 16 are an encouragement to true followers of Jesus Christ. "In the world, ye shall have tribulation." A person who loves Christ WILL suffer persefution because of Him. When we walk in truth and obedience to God and the scripture we have this proof of rejection that shows we have eternal life. Praise God for not leaving us alone, but giving us His Spirit to help us abide!!

Blessed assurance of God's love, mercy, and grace as His children-He is our refuge, strength, and Protector. We're under His protection always.

The works of God will always make manifest what's in people's hearts. When light and truth and goodness cause someone to respond with joy and praise to God; then there is someone who's name is in the Book of Life. So too, when the goodness of God makes a person react with anger, hostility and ugliness; then there is an enemy presiding over that heart; and a soul in danger of eternal damnation.

The inspired psalms were still being used by Christians to praise God. We too should sing praises to Jehovah God.

God knew there were giants in the land of Canaan He asked the Israelites to possess. He wanted to show them again that by His Mighty Hand, He will conquer the giants for them. Today, Jesus is conquering giants in our lives. What a Mighty God we serve!

V. 14:22, tongues is a sign to unbelievers, not believers.
