  • Heavens Acts 7..(56).. Eph 4:..(10)..ily on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. also(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Our creator is on the right hand of God and is above all the Heavens. Stephen and Paul understand as we do

The white stone is not the stone of the Christian church. The foundation of the Christian church is, Jesus is savior. This white stone has the name of the Son of Man, not the son of God, written as savior = religion of Israel. They call the son of their God, their false bloodline christ, a killer, the rod of iron is a rifle. Jesus does not kill, he never breaks GODs law not to kill.

  • Light: Upper and Lower Heaven Isaiah 45:..(7,8)… ily - 9 years ago
I form the light. The word form means to squeeze like potters clay. This is the dawning of this Universe which was created in the upper Heaven. It is a Heaven of righteousness and salvation.(Eternity). So God divided the upper Heaven from the Universe he just created. The Universe we see now has gone through many changes, but because of the firmament we do not see the upper Heaven. Psalms 104..(2

You will need to understand that verse of the scripture very will before you will be able to accept why his disciples have to baptize in the name of Jesus, and not in father, son, and holy ghost.
Now let look at it.Jesus said baptize in the name of the father, son, and holy ghost. Please the emphasis is not father nor son either. The emphasis is in the name of the father and FATHER IS NOT A NAME?Is title

It lets you know that Christ made the ultimate sacrifice by dying for our sins and once we accept him as our mediator between God and man we ought to live by faith because he has justified and made us righteous
  • Let Us Psalms 82: ..(6)..John 10 33.(34)..38 ily on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Ye are Gods: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Note :( own) is italicized not in original text. When it says let us it is referring to the sons of God. Man had dominion over everything that moved. Hunters and Fishermen. Also Isaiah 41:..(23)…

Young Woman should be purified before she goes before her King. They need to learn about the love of Jesus, her body as the temple of God and proper submission to God and Man before marriage.

Genesis 1:3 declares the creation of Light. Note however that it was not until Genesis 1:14 that God created the Sun and the heavenly bodies. Following chronology of creation, is Genesis 1:3 suggesting that there is a source of light other than the sun? Other than fire? Or is the verse simply metaphorical? This comment posts the question; what light was created on the first day?

Roman 13:1 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers (government). For there are no powers but of God,(our government is put in place by God). The powers that be, are ordained by God." This chapter is telling us to give honor, give tribute, love, submit, owe nothing to government officials. Regardless of what they do. His word stands!

As you can see in the name of Jesus speaks of "in the authority of Jesus." Therefore, when someone is properly baptized, they are baptized in the name of Jesus; that is, by the authority of Jesus. Therefore, when they are properly baptized in the name of Jesus, they should say, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit," just as Jesus commanded us to do.
  • Ren - 9 years ago
Acts 2:38, "And Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
The reason they were baptizing "in the name of Jesus" is not because it was a formula, but because the phrase, "in the name of" means "in the authority of.
  • Ren on 2 Timothy 4 - 9 years ago
The proper form of baptism is in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as Jesus designated in Matt. 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." The clear command of Jesus is to baptize this way. Then why do we see so many instances in the New Testament where people were baptized "in Jesus' name"?

  • Peter A. Okebukola on John 1 - 9 years ago
The Trinity is revealed in this Chapter. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have been one since the beginning of time. The Word- Jesus Christ, came down to the world to take away our sins. John had the singular privilege of being a forerunner and baptising Jesus with water who will in turn, baptise with the Holy Spirit. The Book of John is deep.
