disciple: how were you saved? did The Father Tug on your Heart? was it by The Blood? It's True, many pastors and others say: just say this prayer or be baptized and your Saved. Many are on The Wide Road./ No one can be Saved without The Father's Call: John 6:44:a tug on your Heart. Without The Blood of Christ, there is no Salvation. The Change is Instantly! The next Day We will know by The Fruit.
  • SabbathkeeperandWife on Revelation 11 - 9 years ago
I've got an old Strong's with cloth binding and yellow pages circa 1940s. 1000 dead is the same time satan is bound to "his" earth with no one to mess with to reflect on what's coming. Book of John says All are "sleeping" like Ecclesiastes until last resurrection. Many have been dead longer than that. They don't know it. Sleep

Thanks! All things positive appreciated. Wife had cancer. Massive brain tumor. 6 mos prognosis. Took her off chemo and laid hands on her, asking the God of the universe to do His will. She was about shot when we opted for this. Paralysis, no control of lower extremities. That's when I saw the Master work. 3 days- up and in garden. 5 weeks tumor gone. That was 2 years ago. Still kicking,Glory be...
  • Bruce on Colossians 1 - 9 years ago
Felicia: Have you been Born-again? Washed by His Blood? Just 3Things to do:Read His Word always,no other books- commentaries,no tv-internet, movies. Tell others what He has done and how they can be Saved by The Blood of The Lamb. Go to a Church that believes the same. The more you read and Hear His Word tell others everyday, with Prayer: The more you receive. --If only now-n-than: years to never.
  • David Shibli on Matthew 24 - 9 years ago
"There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." Jesus was warning us that the spiritual house built out of the living stones (Peter) would have to be dismantled because it is not fit for purpose. Men have built their vision of the Church over the years. But fear not, "I will build My Church." Emphasis on "I".
  • April on 1 Samuel 16 - 9 years ago
I think Samuel mourning was grieving not really praying,in vs1 Father asked how long will you grieve,I think Samuel is of old age and thought his people would have a king to follow that worshiped our father, and well that didn't turn out, instead of obeying,Saul did what the people wanted NOT father. On the music aspect,u are refering to SECUALR music anything not of religious uplifting and positive.
  • April on 1 Samuel 15 - 9 years ago
So sad :( for Father and Samuel, father wants to see his people follow in his ways and be taken care of and Samuel I'm sure will pass at some point and like Moses and Joshua will he have to carry that burden on his heart, that who he thought would be King of Israel would be he who brings them down,I feel for father so many times people have done this so sad,and Samuel was sadden by the rejection....
  • Anna on Luke 10 - 9 years ago
Irene: Yes, sorry, I translated it in my head from the Finnish bible.
  • Annie - 9 years ago
God is not negative energy instilling fear in man for salvation. That's the church doing it!!!!
  • April on 1 Samuel 14 - 9 years ago
Johnathan seemed to have been moved by father to go without telling anyone else but one person, but when he ate the honey, although he didn't hear what his father said,he should have repented for his wrong doing,or try to see if he could make an amends,we all make mistakes, but does that mean we shouldn't feel something when we make them?,especially since one mans sin leads to the falter of ALL?Amen.
  • Annie on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
In 623AD, the churches for an org called Coyncil of Niccea that decided what was and not be in the Bible. It was done for control and monetary gain. We live in a Capitalist country in which the church sits on top quite wealthy.
  • Tank on Romans 8 - 9 years ago
I love the chapter so much being disabled I really enjoy Romans 8 18 where whatever pain or sufferings we are going through our blessed saviour has a place for us ( which we don't deserve) because we asked him to come in our hearts. Praise the LORD.
  • Librarygal143 on Romans 8 - 9 years ago
    That's right! Thank you, Lord!

  • Day 1 begins in darkness and ends in light: Isaiah 45 on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
7I form the light, form means: to squeeze like potters clay. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? We know light burst forth and the morning began. The light was good. Time began as well as the works of old.(things are born, grow old and die) This was the foundation of this universe and world. Evening and morning in that order. Jesus is the light of the World
  • Deborah on Romans 8 - 9 years ago
Deborah, I love it because God's Word not only spoke,to the hearts,of mankind, but even years beyond the events in the Bible we can see they were meant to be timeless prices of Art and the ability for anyone to follow is still like that of a,child.
  • Alexander on Psalms 28 - 9 years ago
This psalms is a call to mindfulness.
  • Emodi Ogechukwu on Esther 1 - 9 years ago
The first time I read Esther, I was inspired beyond words. The obedience of Esther to Modecai, her humility to Hegai, and her strong faith in God. I saw where God used something out of nothing and made something out of it, to the glory of his name. if we trust in him, all things are possible. I am currently writing a short story for children on Esther, so as to inspire them as it has inspired me!!
  • A disciple on 1 Samuel 10 - 9 years ago
April; "Taken..." is a form of speech: it means that as the sons of Benjamin (the Tribe) were set apart, then so 'n' so was set apart, and then so 'n' so was set apart ... till they came to Saul: it was to show the way God showed them, bit by bit. Yes, it is strange how people can feel the need to say something religious, but have no religion really in their heart, and stubbornly refuse to repent!
  • A disciple on Isaiah 44 - 9 years ago
He that is of God will hear God's words; so then, the Jews who don't believe in Jesus Christ are not of God. And the Lord Jesus said to them, If you will not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins. "Many shall come from the east and from the west, and shall sit down with Abraham and all the Prophets in the kingdom of God; but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out."
  • A disciple on Isaiah 44 - 9 years ago
YAHCHANAN; The whole purpose of God for calling Israel, and giving them the Law and the Prophets, was for being the family through who Christ was appointed to come into the world. Jesus is the Saviour, not Israel! God hides His face from Israel and has blinded their hearts, until they repent, confess their sins, and the sins of their ancestors, and believe in Jesus: He alone takes away our sins!
  • Wayne on James 3 - 9 years ago

And every man that hath this hope in Him, purifieth himself, even as He is pure. V.3
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 2 Samuel 6 - 9 years ago
God expects His presence in the Ark of the Covenant to be respected. Anyone who dares to disrespect, got his or her sanctions- Uzaah was killed, Michal was visited with barrenness. So, if the Lord lives in our hearts as exemplified by the Ark of the Covenant, we must keep our bodies holy.
  • Bruce on 1 Samuel 4 - 9 years ago
April: Our Lord will talk to His Children (maybe not all?) The first time I heard His Voice,He said, don't get Married. I thought maybe it's me talking to myself? 5 hrs. Later I'm Married. A year later,He talked to me again, that Voice? I know that Voice! Yes,it is calm, not loud, soft, you just know! Most of the time it's 2-5 words. To Hear His Voice and Feel His presence! The Marriage was from Hell.
  • Lu2677 on Genesis 12 - 9 years ago
Hebrews 10:31, Some one that believes this verse to be true, and has understanding of what "in the hands of the living God" means, certainly would be afraid of him!
  • Lu2677 on 1 Samuel 4 - 9 years ago
Daily tribulations=physical afflictions,(illness, hardship, mourning loss, trials and testings) things all men face, for the believer we have these things and more, plus; daily fighting "the flesh" etc. Is not the same as The Great Tribulation that is yet to come, that the world has never seen before, and will never see again when it is over. We are not living in "The Great Tribulation" at this time.
  • Lu2677 on Proverbs 3 - 9 years ago
Proverbs 3:1-7,11-12. This chapter is similar to the concept of Psalms 91. When we learn his commandments and do them, we are set free. I am awe struck; so, to answer the question about being frustrated with Psalms 91, no I'm not! Amen.
  • Lu2677 on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
Psalms 91:1"secret place"is Christ."most High"is God."shall abide under the shadow"living in His love, knowledge of him, understanding, salvationThis chapter is His testimony to the elect when they put all their trust in him, that he will be a refuge from all the terrible things yet to come.V. 8,the godly will see the "reward"(this reward is not a good thing)it is God's judgment against the wicked.
  • Ibby on Ecclesiastes 1 - 9 years ago
Solomon pleased God he asked for wisdom and God blessed him. However with all the wisdom he took himself strange wives and he forsook God, King Ahab had a strange wife Jezebel look at the outcome, after King Solomon looked back his life even with all the wisdom and riches it all came down to vanity.
