(14-16) We know from other places in the Gospels where Jesus said that whatever we desire when we pray, believe that we receive and we shall have them. But this part, I think, has to do specifically with the business of souls; and in the same area as having charge of the keys of the kingdom, to bind or loose in Jesus' name; and to pronounce forgiveness and remission, or that the sin is retained.

"..By water and blood.. and it is the Spirit that bears witness.." There can be no cleansing from filth without the water; and there must be blood to make atonement; and the Spirit confirms either good or bad according to truth. Truth witnesses the appearance of the Son of God in the flesh as complete with respect to the ruin of man by sin, by the slaughter on Golgotha; and God's mercy glorified.

  • A disciple on Isaiah 27 - 9 years ago
"When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour." There is a generation which the LORD has rejected, and will not have mercy when He comes: what began with a city and a tower, and crucified the Lord.

In the parable about the lord who forgave his servant, and that same servant went out and took his fellow-servant by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe! The other servants were grieved when they saw that and told their lord: so he called him and said to him, I forgave you all that debt, because you asked me; shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow-servants, like I had pity on you?
  • A disciple on 2 Timothy 4 - 9 years ago
Yes! and let's go further. The Father, He who sits upon the throne with the little scroll in His hand; hands the scroll to the Lord Jesus, so He can open the seven seals and look inside and read. John is there in the Spirit. There are seven lamps burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Reproaching the Spirit cannot be forgiven, neither in this world, nor in that to come.

We that are saved are not of the world this is not our home Heaven is our home .we live in this world Jesus will be with us all

I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
  • Ren on 2 Timothy 4 - 9 years ago
As you can see, "in the name of the Lord Jesus" and "in the name of Jesus" speaks of "in the authority of Jesus." Therefore, when someone is properly baptized, they are baptized in the name of Jesus; that is, by the authority of Jesus. Therefore, when they are properly baptized in the name of Jesus, they should say, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son,and the Holy Spirit.

The law stated " that a person who sold himself to another person (sin)because of his inability to pay his debt, can be redeemed by a close relative" Now, this close relative assumes the position of master in place of the "other person" The freed slave's Love, Loyalty, service and worship is now for his "close relative". Jesus paid our debt to set us free, he is our "close relative" and MASTER.
  • Jacob Ameh Sani on Romans 4 - 9 years ago
Rom 4:25 is the real end of discussions;there is no sin and attendant condemnation against anyone that is in Jesus Christ by faith and work that mirrors Him (in you) to your world. His intercession with the Father alleviates our shortfalls everyday. There is nothing new the Lord God will do for anyone again that has not been settled in Jesus Christ. This fact is sacrosanct, clear and unambiguous.

  • Amb.Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu on Genesis 12 - 9 years ago
it is a dangerous thing to fall in the hands of an angry God.God fights for his own .we need not fight our battles or lean on our positions, connections ,strengths or wisdom.Lets all look unto God always He is able to keep us .
  • AMB.IFEOMA MARY EJIOGU on Genesis 12 - 9 years ago
Abraham exhibited a character that is rare indeed ,he believed God to the point of forfeiting cultural ties ,position, what the world will say,but believe God for all he needed in life.l personally was challenged to follow the footstool of Abraham and to claim his daughter for life.

  • Peter A. Okebukola on 1 Samuel 26 - 9 years ago
What a great obsession Saul had to kill David. As many time he tried, as many times he failed. You cannot harm God's anointed.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on John 2 - 9 years ago
As Jesus turned water into wine at Cana, so He is capable of turning our heart of stone into an abode where God can live.

Our God is a great God, He deliver his own from their enemy. Despite the fact that Gideon's faith was shaken at the beginning the good Lord proves himself that he is the Lord.
When we surrender our will to his will he will surely take us out of our trouble.

Search the tree of good and evil all the way and you find out it had a nervous system and a backbone. Then the tree of Life is in the Revelation. Don't read to fast and always take time to search the words out and you'll learn the truth.

  • A disciple on Isaiah 13 - 9 years ago
"The noise of a multitude in the mountains (high places), like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts musters the host of the battle." The heavens shall be rolled back like a scroll, and He shall call with a great shout to all His holy angels; first to gather up His Elect, and immediately after to utterly take away all the wicked.
  • A disciple on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light... And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;" From out of His divine power and wisdom and knowledge, God said, "Let there be light." He knew the light before He made it shine on His coming works, and then after He made great Lamps to be set in the heavens for the benefit of the earth.
  • Lu2677 on Genesis 3 - 9 years ago
Lostribeman, Gen.4 Adam knew his wife and she conceived, had a son named Cain.If Cain is NOT mentioned in the Lineage of Adam as you claim, how do you explain? Gen.4:17 "Cain's wife bare (gave birth to) Enoch" v.18, etc. gives family names born to Enoch, and so on.
"Adam knew his wife" The word "knew" in holy writ many times refers to sexual intercourse.
    Gen.4:25, 1Samuel 1:19, Gen.4:17,etc.
  • Wilson Olawunmi on Psalms 62 - 9 years ago
I love this verse. The comments here are also encouraging..... My contribution to this is: In times of trouble and trial, the Lord is our Strength. When it looks like everything around us is not going the way it should or, the people whom we trust, fails us. We can always fall back to a friend indeed who will never leave or forsake us. That person is our Rock-He is Jesus Christ.
