Joy for my soul....God can do all things for the saints....amen....

Vv. 12 and 13 state the heavens and the earth will be burned up, dissolved. So we look for NEW heavens and a NEW earth. Jesus, in Matt. 24:35, states Heaven and earth shall pass away. Not a renovation, new. Wherein dwelleth righteousness.

God is good

He is my protecter and my life always.

This is a most interesting psalm where all the qualities of the Almighty God is defined for you to appreciate. It goes further to let you understand the extra gifts of bread,wine and oil that gives strength and gladdens the heart of man. It is a psalm of life's needs met on your daily living. if I have my way, I will recite this psalm everyday.

V. 1 - David didn't become 'weary' from battle; he became - complacent, because God had ALWAYS done for him in his every endeavor for God. So he listened to satan, 'Your men can handle this without you'. And he then saw what satan planned for him to see. And Solomon, the product of this union, did not turn out well at all. God 'used' Solomon for HIS purpose - because He knew his 'true' heart.

What God did then, in being with David and defeating HIS enemies, not David's, David was the tool God used to defeat HIS enemies. Just as today - no one laughs at, despises Christians; it's their God they don't care for. A true Christian shows GENUINE love to ALL people; no one can despise GENUINE love. It's the repentance, leaving their sin, they hate, i.e. hating God. Jn. 14:15.

V. 14 - I will chasten him with the rod of men. In this day people wonder why God allows wars; it's simply because of this verse - if he commit iniquity .......; even many 'church' people are committing iniquity, let alone un-churched. God allows wars, to hopefully get people to a place of repentance, but He doesn't cause them. Trials, persecutions for the same reason - repentance.

My favourite psalm, whenever I feel discouraged and worried I read this psalm . It gives me peace and happiness.

V. 22: is a prophecy of the Messiah

V. 16; Ps. 98:4 - Super Bowl Sunday - The costumes, painted faces, CURSING, people being hurt in the stands, let alone the players, the thrill at players being hurt; and these are some of the people that despise the exuberant worship of God and are embarrassed by it as Michal was.

God is very Persis in giving directions and he said in the "name" not "names" plural forum. if he had wanted us to baptize in the titles or names of God he would have used the plural here but the Hebrew word for "name" is singular and can not mean in the names of anything or anyone. You error in that in the scripture it is saying name of and then gives three different titles for that name. Just like I am a father and I am a son and I have a spirit, but my name is Rick! There is no three separate persons or a trinity mentioned anywhere in the word of God! People try to explain away that Jesus was none other than God himself manifested in the flesh, robed in flesh and dwelt among us. NO Person other than God can forgive sins, NO ONE BESIDES HIM! So it had to be God almighty that was formed as a man, not a separated being other than God!

When I am confused conflicted; I am soothed and fearless.

Wa-a-y back in '14, a person said the ascension wasn't mentioned in Matt., but that it was in Luke and this made him doubt the veracity of the Bible. Well, this person has LOTS of company. Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

When Jesus told the disciples to baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit in Mt. 28. and then Peter says for them in Act. 2 to be baptized in Jesus name, It means, "in the authority of" In Mk.16:15-20 Jesus say's, "These signs shall follow them that believe, in My name they shall" Name is referring to authority. Peter baptized in the authority of Jesus name Mt.28

Amen "baptizing them in the Name" the Apostle Peter was there when Jesus said this .Was Peter disobeying Jesus or did he understand what the name of the Father,Son,and Holy Ghost is when he told everyone of them to be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins in Acts 2:38 the Apostles only baptized in Jesus Name throughout scripture

Some suppose that Jesus did all His miracles for a show, and for advertising His power; ignoring the facts about the people whose hearts were hostile toward Him, that they weren't worthy to hear any more.

To those who oppose and contradict, there IS NO SIGN GIVEN; but to us who believe and follow Jesus, "Blessed are your eyes, for they see;" and ALL THINGS THAT THE FATHER HAS GIVEN TO JESUS, HE MAKES KNOWN TO US. Why do the haters of the Lord seek a sign, when they have no heart for it? And why do those with eyes to see, so easily act as if they didn't know?
